HISTORY OF INTERNET

* In 1969 a network named 'ARPA NET' advanced researched project agency network was devleoped by  ARPA (US defendence milatary).

* In 1970's the use of LAN  become more prelavent and was used by IBM.

* In 1972 the ARPA net was used by europ, england, norway and london.

* In 1980's for the first time the term 'internet' was being used to describe the  ARPA net in the same year two important protocalls TCP/IP was introduced.

* During these year 'CSNET' was formed by computer science department of all universities in 1985 NSF net was formed by rational science foundation.

* In 1988 'Robert Morris' a graduate student released a virus called 'Internet Worm' which is the first virus.

* In 1989 the control of internet come into hands of NSF.

* In 1991 word wide web (WWW)  was created by 'Timberners Lee' in the same year Gopher a software used to search data on internet was released.

* In 1994 a web browser netscope navigator was released by mark andreson and jimclerk of netscap communication during the same period to graduate student David and Jery developed a search engine called Yahoo.

*In 1995 java was released by 'Sunmicro Systems' during the same year a web browser named 'Micro Soft Internet Explorer' was released by microsoft corporation during the same year computer science is inroduced as a course of all universities.

* In 2000 a virus named "ILY" spread from philipines and inflected milliion of computer in world wide internet is still growing at the rate of 100% every year.
